Less than two decades ago, it was commonplace to have reporters from The Star-Ledger, The News Tribune, The Home News, NJN, News 12, and other daily and weekly New Jersey and New York news outlets regularly attend Woodbridge council and school board meetings, cover press conferences, and write about any and all township news events and activities. In fact, it almost became a full-time job to answer reporter inquiries and to ensure they received accurate information in a timely manner.

Mayor John E. McCormac announced today that Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Citi Foundation have partnered with Woodbridge Township to advance the development of the Pennval Road Green Technology Park & Business Incubator.

In today’s world, living a “green” lifestyle is no longer a luxury. If we are to provide our children with a secure future, we must start to better manage the ways we use energy and other natural resources at work and home.
“Greenable Woodbridge” targets nearly every aspect of “going green” and provides easy-to-use information on some of the easy first steps we can all take to establish Woodbridge Township as a leader in sustainable living. Working together, we can put into place programs and practices that benefit residents and businesses alike, while reducing energy consumption and expense throughout our Township.
