Woodbridge Storm Alert Information

Vehicles must removed from all designated snow streets in Woodbridge as part of a storm alert that has been issued for Thurs., Feb. 25 through Sat., Feb. 27, 2010.

Parking prohibitions will remain in effect on all snow streets until the street has been plowed and on-street parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic. To assist plowing and snow removal efforts throughout the Township, residents are encouraged to park vehicles in driveways and off streets wherever possible.

The Woodbridge Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Works will monitor local storm conditions and is at the ready to implement appropriate public safety alerts and operations if necessary.

Woodbridge Township residents should tune to local TV news and weather reports, TV-35, or log-on to the Township Web Page for weather information or specific storm-related announcements.

STORM-RELATED CLOSINGS & CANCELLATIONS:

THURS., FEB. 25:

  • The STD Clinic scheduled from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. at the Health Center is cancelled.
  • The Greenable Woodbridge “How to Build a Hydroponic Garden” scheduled for 6:30 P.M. at the Community Center is cancelled.
  • The seminar will be rescheduled. The “Relay for Life” Kick-Off celebration scheduled for 7:00 P.M. at Wegmans is cancelled. A new event date will be announced.

FRI., FEB. 26:

  • The Fourth Friday Chamber of Commerce Breakfast with the Mayor scheduled for 8:00 A.M. at the Renaissance Conference center is cancelled. The Breakfast is rescheduled for Fri., March 26, 2010.
  • The H1N1 Clinic scheduled for Fri., Feb. 26 from 9:00 A.M to Noon at the Health Center is cancelled.
