The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services will administer H1N1 vaccine to all Woodbridge Township residents – adults and children regardless of age or risk group - at clinics scheduled for Mon., Dec. 28 and Wed., Dec. 30, 2009.
The H1N1 vaccine program is voluntary and is free to Woodbridge Township residents. No registration is required.
H1N1 vaccination clinics for Woodbridge Township residents are scheduled for:
- Mon., Dec. 28 from 9:00 A.M. to Noon at the Woodbridge Township Health Center, 2 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge;
- Wed., Dec. 30 from 9:00 A.M. to Noon at the Evergreen Senior & Youth Center, 400 Inman Avenue, Colonia.
Woodbridge Township Health Director Dennis Green reports that the Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services has received 14,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine which allows for the distribution of H1N1 vaccine to the general public – Woodbridge Township senior residents, adults and children.

The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services reminds that parents must complete a consent form and accompany pre-school, elementary and middle school children to the Health Department clinics. Consent forms have been distributed to public school students in letters from the Woodbridge Township School District and the Department of Health & Human Services, or are available at the health Department. The consent forms must be completed by the parent(s) and the parent(s)/student must present the signed authorization consent when receiving the H1N1 vaccination.
“Health Director Green reminded that “vaccination remains our most effective tool to prevent the flu. Remember to continue to practice good public health. Wash hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes with tissue or sleeve and stay home if sick.”
