Woodbridge – The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services will administer H1N1 vaccine (Thimerosal-free) to Woodbridge Township infants from the age of 6 months to 35 months (3 years of age) at a clinic scheduled on Wed., Dec. 2, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M., at the Woodbridge Township Health Center (2 George Frederick Plaza).

Parents must accompany the child and must complete a consent form. There is no charge for the vaccination. The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services has received some 2,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine (of the more than 14,000 doses ordered) and has administered the vaccine to at-risk and priority populations as identified by the New Jersey Department of Health & Human Services and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Woodbridge Township priority groups receiving the H1N1 vaccine to date include children under the age of 18 with underlying medical conditions or illness, pre-school children, elementary school-age children (public and parochial schools), pregnant women, and health care workers.
